The Penn & Tylers Green Residents Society (P&TGRS) was formed in the spring of 2003 from a merger of the former Penn & Tylers Green Residents Association and Penn & Tylers Green Society, both of which dated back to the 1960s. It is a body represented entirely by local people and exists to better the quality of life for all the residents of the two Chiltern villages of Penn and Tylers Green.
All residents who live in the Tylers Green Ward of Chepping Wycombe Parish Council or in Ward UA of Penn Parish Council are considered members, unless they notify the Secretary that they do not want to be. All members are entitled to attend or have their views represented at meetings of the Board of Trustees, the AGM and any Special General Meeting. They are also able to set out their views by writing to the Editor of “Village Voice”, the local magazine for Penn and Tylers Green, which is distributed bi-monthly free of charge to every home in the village.
All the company’s regulatory and statutory information viz. our Memorandum, Articles of Association, Company Rules, Standing Orders, Statutory Accounts and statement of Membership are available on the Residents Society page. The Board of Directors and key Sub-Committees, whose members undertake much of the day to day work of the P&TRGS, are listed on the same page.
