4th December WDC Local Plan consultation closes

The consultation has run from 16 October, due to technical issues with the WDC website it has been extended now, to 11.59pm 4th December.

P&TGRS has submitted a detailed comment on behalf of P&TGRS, Ashwells Forum and representatives from the Gomm Valley & Ashwells Liaison Group. please read, it is posted on the planning pages of this website.

The Evening WI will be holding another of their very popular Craft Fairs on the first Saturday in November.  There will be refreshments and WI home made cakes as well as a large variety of craft stalls.  Come and buy that unusual Christmas present or simply treat yourself.  We look forward to greeting you.

there is a survey to complete and return by the end of December.

Don’t miss the ‘Only fools and 3 courses’ event 18th November @ Tylers Green Village Hall

On Saturday 18th November Del Boy and Rodney will be in attendance at a performance of “Only fools and 3 courses” at the Village Hall.

A Waitress served three course meal and bar infused with lashings of humour from Uncle Albert and family will be yours to enjoy on the night.

All profits from the night will be added to the years “Village fund pot”, raised this year for Bucks MIND, our adopted charity after the tragic loss of our local builder Jim Hawes following a period of severe depression.

The last few tickets for the event are available from Tina Brown at the Village hall at £35 each.

This year’s cheque will be presented to Bucks MIND after Carols on the Common on December 21st. At the Sports and Social club.
