The Chiltern Open Air Museum is a 45 acre museum with over thirty restored buildings from town and villages around the area covering over 2000 years of history. There are historical events happening throughout the year including themes of Roman Centurion, Jacobite from 18th century England, medieval knight, or 'Dad's Army home guard'.

Set in beautiful grounds, and with exciting hands-on activities, Wycombe Museum is a great place to discover the fascinating and varied history of the district and the famous collection of Windsor chairs. Opening times: Monday to Saturday: 10am-5pm. Sunday: 2pm-5pm. Bank holidays: closed. Admission is free and there is a small car park with limited space available at the Museum. A selection of merchandise, including a wide range of books, can be found in the shop.

Ticket office opening hours: Monday to Saturday:10am-8pm. On Sunday and Bank Holidays the ticket office is open from 90 minutes before performances. Short-stay parking is available in Swan Car Park basement.

A National Trust property and country estate. Open daily for most of the year, once the home of Waldorf and Nancy Astor. It has spectacular landscape including various formal gardens with sculpture and statues, a topiary, and a parterre with breathtaking views. Part of the house is open to visitors at limited times. Hell Fire Caves

Milton's Cottage was once the home of John Milton (1608-1674), one of England's greatest poets. It is now a museum of his work and times. The cottage is open daily from 1st March to 31st October on Tuesdays to Sundays: 10am-1pm and 2pm-6pm. Closed Mondays except Bank Holidays Fun for children
