Digital TV Switchover
VV readers may be aware that the London TV region will start to switch from the present analogue signal to the new and stronger digital signal on 4th April, 2012. However, some more senior readers may be less aware or perhaps less certain about the implications.
Age Concern, in association with “Digital UK” has produced some helpful material to explain the switchover, as well as the “Switchover Help Scheme”, run by the BBC. This scheme has been designed to help older and disabled people cope with everything they need to switch their TV to digital.
