Responsibility for policing is shared between two Thames Valley Police (TVP) Neighbourhood Police Teams, one for Penn, the other for Tylers Green.

Penn

forms part of the TVP Penn / Coleshill Neighbourhood. The Neighbourhood Police Team can be contacted by calling the TVP non-emergency number 101, then asking the police operator to put you through to the Chalfont St Giles Police Office. The website is http://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/yournh-tvp-pol-area-N212 . This gives general information about the Team; their monthly Newsletters can also be viewed on this site.

The Police hold monthly Have Your Say Events. These informal opportunities to meet local police take place at the Library in Chalfont St Giles, on the first Friday of each month from 12 noon to 2.00pm. Specific details are published in the monthly Newsletter.

Tylers Green

is the responsibility of the Hazlemere & Chepping Wycombe Neighbourhood Police Team (HNPT), who can be contacted by calling the TVP non-emergency number 101, then asking the police operator to put you through to the Hazlemere Police Office. The HNPT website is http://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/yournh-tvp-pol-area-N182 . This gives general information about the Team; the HNPT monthly Newsletters can also be viewed on this site.

The HNPT holds monthly Have Your Say Events. These informal opportunities to meet local police take place in different locations in Tylers Green, often outside local shops: dates, times and sites are published in the HNPT monthly Newsletter.

  • Appeals for witnesses or for help to trace missing people.
  • Events and opportunities to meet your neighbourhood policing team and have your say about crime in your area.

NAG

Hazlemere & Chepping Wycombe
Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG)

Neighbourhood Action Groups (NAGs) deal with key issues in a community and comprise local groups typically including residents, the police, local councillors and other organisations such as schools. The local NAG covers Tylers Green, Loudwater, Flackwell Heath and Hazlemere. This area is the responsibility of local Neighbourhood Police Team, based at the Hazlemere crossroads Police Office. The NAG meets every six weeks to review topics of concern, how these might be addressed and to monitor progress.The current priority issues for the NAG are Anti Social Behaviour / Criminal Damage and Speeding / Road Safety.

The Penn & Tylers Green Residents Society representative on the Hazlemere & Chepping Wycombe NAG is Sandy Macdiarmid.

The current priorities are:

  2. Speeding/road safety.
